Proposing to do BALROG pq this SUNDAY(18/4)!
suggested time: 10am~11am(my,sg time) [about 10am start 1st round]
if you have problems with timing, feel free to suggest other suitable times!

We need 9~15 people!! (max is 15) So, please join and have fun!!

We will be meeting at channel 10 balrog pq map :) Be there by 9.55, so that we can get in as soon as possible~ (read below on how to get there)

INFO:

Balrog pq is available to anyone above lvl 50! *you don't have to be 4th job! or you don't have to use your 4th job main user! (cause your stats will be nerfed to a lvl 50 anyways)
And you can only use 1st and 2nd job skills in the pq!! (EOH works, for 3rd and 4th jobs; only passive skills)

Bishops, Priests, Clerics will only heal till about 25% of balrog's life. After that you will stop healing to avoid killing yourself and party as balrog will cast zombify(causing heal to damage yourself)! So, bring potsss to heal self~~
Warrior class will have to use the fastest weapons they can find(wa doesn't really matter)

How to get there? Easiest, meet Manji at perion and pay 10k mesos to go to the pq map. 2nd, use vip cab to ant tunnel and walk from there. 3rd, walk all the way from Sleepywood...

There is no pre-quest for balrog pq. As long as you are 50 and above, you should be able to go^^
The only pre-quest you might one to take is The Abandoned Note quest. (optional) Because after you take this quest, it will continue with Tristan's Successor quest which requires you to defeat Balrog 100 times!
However, it would be great if you have Hero's Gladius in your inventory(get from Manji's quest, click to see details of quest). Why? Cause it will give you a +30wa and +30ma buff when you are in the pq(the buff looks like a blue sword) - this buff will be cancelled if you use cider or wa/ma pots. If you don't have the Hero's Gladius to get the buff, you should use wa/ma pots. :)

READ THIS for further information!! *mainly for you to see the SS if you don't watch the videos..(if you're so lazy, read all that I write here at least... read both to ensure you are really prepared) Click me~(there are several differences with levels etc, but basically about the same)

THE BATTLE:

Standing at top left to hit the head will only damage you about maximum 600 and dispelled.
And standing at bottom to hit the legs will damage you a maximum of 3000, dispelled, 1/1.
Mostly we will be at the top to just hit the head.

All range and mage jobs(and anyone with hp less than 3000) will be at the top left part and hitting the head(unless told not to). There will be a time when I will tell you to stop hitting due to damage reflect! (this will be around 40-45% balrog hp) *prepare to be hit about 600dmg and dispelled(mages please be alert^^ if u wanna off mg, make sure u are not lagging)
Aran class will hit the legs!(or if you prefer to hit head it's your choice, the reason I suggest you to hit legs is cause it's easier for you to combo[experienced by yanny on her aran f3] so you guys need to prepare to be dispelled, hit about 3k dmg, and 1hp/1mp effects)
NOTE: warriors classes are free to decide whether they want to hit the head or legs.
Anyone who is uncertain about where they should be, feel free to ask :)
Dispel will dispel all buffs except for your hero's gladius buff or wa/ma pot buff.

For those worried if they die, you'll lose 1%. If you die before the HP bar appears(around the first 5minutes?), you may have a chance to RE-ENTER by clicking to go in. So, if you do die before the hp bar comes out, quickly try to come in again!!

1st: this will be 10 minutes before hp bar comes out. No worries here, just HIT HIT HIT the balrog non-stop. If you don't hit it enough, the balrog will reject our squad and kick us all out.

2nd: the 15mil HP bar of balrog will now appear... just keep on hitting... from time to time, there will be a blue text appearing whereby balrog enters recovery mode. At this time, appointed people will go and hit the altar that is lighted with normal attack. Failure to do so, would be certain FAIL of balrog pq...

3rd: this happens when balrog is about 40-45% hp, and his hands/legs/whatever will be sealed with chains! At this time everyone will be at the top left to hit the head.
Damage reflect will start to be casted at this point on... This is the image of how balrog casts the skill:

At 40-45%, everyone should stop hitting and look out for when balrog casts damage reflect. [You DO NOT want to hit it when it DAMAGE REFLECT! It will damage you back 8k+ and possibly even more! Magic guard doesn't count as it will directly hit hp, regardless!] We'll have to try and catch the timing for each time.(DAMAGE REFLECT is cast every 1 minute!) This is vital as it decides whether everyone diesssss and balrog pq is success or not!

Lastly, for clerics, priests, bishops; at 25% balrog hp, you must stop using heal! Balrog will start casting zombify which will make you and your party members die if you heal. Everyone pls do remind them ;)

Bonus: Please keep pet loot :) If can don't loot everything... wait... and let me say who should take what... (some of the items are untradable!) if chaos/white scroll drops, rock/yy will be looting it and help us sell it^^
